Understanding Your Membership, Payments, Warranties, and Responsibilities

Welcome to Miami Valley Roofing & Restoration LLC. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website (go.mymvrroof.com) and all related roof maintenance memberships, warranties, services, and digital content (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing the website or enrolling in any membership plan, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our Services.

2. Membership Overview

Miami Valley Roofing & Restoration (“MVR”) offers recurring roof maintenance memberships designed to provide ongoing protection, inspections, and priority benefits for both MVR-installed roofs and non-MVR roofs.

Membership Options:

Register — Included Essentail Plan for 1 year (MVR Roofs Only)

Essential Plan — $10/mo or $99/year

Premium (Club) Plan — $50/mo or $499/year

All memberships renew automatically unless canceled.


3. Payment Authorization

By enrolling, you authorize MVR to automatically charge your payment method on a recurring basis (monthly or annually).

Payments are processed through Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. MVR does not store card data.

You agree to keep your billing information current. Failed payments may result in suspended membership benefits.


4. Trial Periods & Renewals

Some MVR-installed roofs qualify for a free first-year membership.
When the trial ends, your membership automatically converts to the Essential Plan at $10/mo until canceled.

Remaining enrolled past the trial constitutes consent to ongoing charges.


5. Cancellation Policy (Future Billing Only)

You may cancel your membership at any time by contacting our office in writing.

Cancellations apply only to future billing cycles.
No partial-period credits or pro-rated refunds are given.


6. STRICT NO REFUNDS POLICY

All membership fees — including onboarding fees, monthly charges, annual charges, and trial conversions — are FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE.

No refunds will be issued for:

Unused time

Forgetting to cancel

Dissatisfaction with the plan

Mid-cycle cancellation

Non-approval of services post-inspection

Failure to schedule inspections

The ONLY exception is an actual billing error or duplicate charge.


6A. MVR-Installed Roofs vs. Non-MVR Roofs

MVR-Installed Roofs

Roofs installed by MVR may qualify for:

Free first-year membership (trial)

Included workmanship warranty per installation contract

Ability to enroll directly into Essential or Premium plans

No onboarding fee

Eligibility requires that:

The roof was installed by MVR

No third-party modifications have been made

The homeowner has followed required maintenance practices

MVR may decline warranty or membership enrollment if the roof has been altered, damaged, or improperly maintained.


Non-MVR Roofs

Roofs not installed by MVR may still participate in membership programs ONLY IF the roof first passes an eligibility inspection.

If the roof qualifies:

A mandatory one-time onboarding fee of $500–$1,000 is required.

This fee includes:

Full roof inspection

Condition assessment

Photo documentation

Enrollment evaluation

Membership setup

Repairs are NOT included in this fee.
If repairs are required before approval, they will be quoted separately.

Approval Is NOT Guaranteed

MVR may deny enrollment if:

The roof is aging, failing, or improperly installed

Storm, leak, or structural damage exists

Repairs are required but not authorized

The roof design or materials are incompatible with our program

Onboarding fees remain NON-REFUNDABLE, even if the roof is not approved.

After Approval

The customer may choose:

Premium (Club) — Monthly or annual

Essential — Monthly or annual

Benefits begin after enrollment and after the first successful subscription charge.


7. Warranty Coverage

Workmanship warranties apply only to qualifying MVR-installed roofs and installation-related defects.

Warranty DOES NOT cover:

Storm, hail, or wind damage

Wear-and-tear or aging

Caulking

Work by other contractors

Improper maintenance

Neglect or debris-related damage

Warranties are non-transferable.


8. Homeowner Responsibilities

You agree to:

Keep gutters clean

Keep roof clear of limbs and debris

Trim overhanging branches

Report leaks or issues immediately

Allow access for inspections

Failure to maintain may void membership benefits and warranties.


9. Service Limitations

Service availability is based on:

Weather

Safety

Technician availability

Geographic range (primarily Miami Valley, Ohio)


10. Pricing Changes

MVR may adjust pricing, benefits, or terms with 30 days’ notice.
Continued enrollment constitutes acceptance of changes.


11. Termination by Company

MVR reserves the right to suspend or terminate memberships for:

Non-payment

Fraud

Safety concerns

Abusive behavior

No refunds will be issued for terminated accounts.


12. Communications Consent

You consent to receive service notifications, membership messages, email updates, and SMS communications.
Reply STOP to opt out of marketing texts.
Service and transactional messages cannot be opted out of.


13. Privacy & Data Processing

Your data is processed per our Privacy Policy.
Stripe handles all payment information securely.


14. Intellectual Property

All website content, branding, and materials belong to MVR and may not be reproduced without written permission.


15. Liability Limitation

MVR is not liable for:

Storm or weather damage

Consequential damages

Issues caused by neglect

Pre-existing roof failures

Total liability is limited to the membership fees paid in the previous 12 months.


16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Ohio law.
Disputes must be resolved in Warren County, Ohio.

By completing checkout, activating your membership, or using this website, you acknowledge and agree to all Terms of Use, including the strict NO REFUNDS policy.

Workmanship coverage applies to MVR-installed roofs. Non-MVR memberships provide maintenance, inspections, priority service, and member discounts; coverage activates after onboarding. I’m an MVR customer—do I get the first year free?

Yes. New MVR installs get the first year included ($0 activation today). After 12 months, it converts to $10/mo, and you can cancel any time in the portal.

My roof wasn’t installed by MVR—can you still cover it?

Please call us or request a full inspection online to see if qualified. If accepted, there’s a one-time onboarding fee ($500–$1,000) that covers inspection, photo documentation and enrollment. After that, pick Club or Essential for ongoing protection.

What’s in the 61-Point Roof Tune-Up?

Shingle and ridge checks, flashing/valley inspection, pipe boot and penetration reseal, skylight/vent checks, exposed nail sealing, roofline gutter lookover, and a photo report with recommendations.

What does workmanship coverage include—and what’s excluded?

It covers installation errors (fastening, flashing, underlayment/ice-water shield, penetrations, ventilation). Exclusions include manufacturer defects, normal wear/caulking, storm/“Act of God” damage, pests/animals, structural movement, and work by others without written consent.

When does my coverage start?

MVR-installed roofs: coverage is activated immediately per your plan.

Non-MVR roofs: coverage starts after your onboarding inspection is completed and approved.

Do members really get faster service after storms?

Yes. Members receive front-of-the-line scheduling during hail/wind events across Waynesville, Dayton, Springboro, Xenia, Centerville, Beavercreek, Kettering, Bellbrook, Lebanon, Middletown, and Franklin.

What is the Vanishing Deductible Credit?

For Club, we bank 20% of your annual fees to apply toward an eligible insurance deductible or future roof upgrades (not cash; non-transferable).

What discounts do members get on repairs?

Club: 30% off non-covered repairs and upgrades.

Essential: 15% off non-covered repairs and services.

How do I schedule my inspection?

Use Book My Inspection in your confirmation email/SMS or on our website.

Club = annual

Essential = every 5 years

Adopt My Roof = onboarding inspection first.

Can I manage or cancel my plan online?

Absolutely. Use the customer portal link to update your card, change plans, or cancel. No phone call required.

Is the membership transferable if I sell my home?

Yes. Pre-paid Premium Annual (Club) and Essential 5-Year are transferable to the new homeowner—just notify us within 30 days of closing.

What homeowner maintenance is required to keep coverage valid?

Clean gutters, trim overhanging branches, keep the roof free of debris, and report leaks immediately so we can prevent further damage.

Do you help with insurance claims?

Yes. We document damage, meet with adjusters when needed, and provide detailed estimates/photos to help your claim move faster.

How fast can you come out for an emergency leak?

Members receive priority emergency response. Call our team and we’ll triage immediately; temporary dry-in/tarping is available when needed.

Waynesville (home base) and the greater Miami Valley: Dayton, Springboro, Xenia, Centerville, Beavercreek, Kettering, Bellbrook, Lebanon, Middletown, Franklin and nearby communities.
